A monthly rate begins with room and board and adds the level of care a resident actually needs. Every rate is confirmed after an in-person assessment.

The base rate includes the room, three meals and snacks, beverages, laundry, housekeeping, utilities, basic cable and telephone, household supplies, and 24-hour caregiver presence. A care-level add-on and any additional assessed services are set after an in-person assessment and confirmed in writing.

The base rate for a private or shared room — lodging, all meals, utilities, housekeeping and laundry.
Care acuity
An add-on set by the level of daily care a resident needs, from light assistance to full support, based on assessment.
Assessed services
Added only when the assessment identifies services beyond the selected care level. The same task is never charged twice.

Deposits & one-time fees private pay
Per Washington law, deposits and supplemental payments are not collected from Medicaid residents on services covered by the Medicaid per diem.
Private pay and Medicaid options.
Radiant Living currently holds a Washington State Medicaid contract and considers both private-pay and Medicaid-eligible applicants. For private-pay admissions, drag the marker to see how a 36-month period and 120 days notice work before a later conversion.
The monthly private rate applies. The home generally seeks thirty-six months of private-pay funding before a planned conversion for residents who enter as private pay — an expectation that may be adjusted by written agreement at admission. Conversion from private-pay to Medicaid is honored under our written policy and is never a basis for discharge.
Direct Medicaid admission is possible when a suitable bed is open and the CARE-assessed rate is at least $125 per day. This is a plain-language summary; the complete written policy is provided before admission.
