Owner and provider at Radiant Living Family Care
The person who owns the license is the person who answers the door, cooks in the kitchen, and knows what each resident likes for breakfast.
We opened Radiant Living because we believe older people deserve to be known. In a large facility, it's easy to fade into the routine. I wanted a house where six people are six people.
I look after each resident the way I would want my own parent looked after — which means noticing the small changes, calling the family before they have to call me, and keeping the household small enough that noticing is possible.

The delegating registered nurse
Delegates and oversees clinical tasks — medications, insulin, blood-sugar monitoring — and coordinates with each resident's own physician or nurse practitioner.
The caregivers
A small, steady team, present around the clock. With six residents, the same faces recur — which is the point.
